We met with the following scholars; Ayatollah Sayed Murtadha al-Kashmiri, the representative of Sayed Ali al-Sistani, Ayatollah Sayed Hadi al-Modaressi, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Ali Shomali, the representative of Sayed Khamenai, Sheikh Fawzi al-Saif and Sheikh Hussain al-Hili. We also had the special honor of visiting Ayatollah Muhammad Sadiq al-Karbasi and Ayatollah Sayed Fadhil al-Milani.
Dr. Shiekh al-Karbasi has spent more than 30 years researching about Imam Hussain (as), the tragedy of Karbala and his companions. He is the author of The Hussaini Encyclopaedia which consists of over 900 volumes covering each and every aspect of the tragedy of Karbala. Ayatollah al-Milani is the Imam at Imam Khoei Islamic Center and the Dean of International Colleges for Islamic Studies. He was also appointed as the representative for the Late Ayatollah Sayed Abul Qasim Al-Khoei in the United Kingdom and is currently authorized on behalf of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Sistani.
Both scholars have encouraged the concept of VR Karbala and are willing to cooperate and ensure that the sources we use for VR Karbala are authentic. They will assist us by finding the appropriate sources whilst approving our script for the different scenes of the tragedy before we start our production.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
